General Guidelines for the participants


  1. Candidates from HMGI are only eligible for competition.
  2. The participants are requested to upload the taken photograph through our websites (www.hits.ac.in) for the competition.
  3. More than one photo cannot be allowed, in such cases that photo(s) cannot consider for the event
  4. The maximum size of captured photo should be less than 10MB.
  5. The participants can upload their photos from 12/01/2016 to 31/01/2016 for competition the photos received after due date are not consider for competition.
  6. The name of the photo should not be Hurt anybody is any means.
  7. The main aim of the competition is to rise the creativity of individual participate.
  8. The competition mail has been sent to participant after receiving photo. The photo copy of conformation mail should be submit to respective cultural coordinator.
  9. The authority has full rights to modify the final dates and guidelines.
  10. Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible.
  11. Images of not more than 10 MB in size must be submitted online and the organiser may request for higher resolution images subsequently.
  12. Submitted images should be in JPEG format and at least 1,600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1,600 pixels tall for a vertical image.
  13. Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.
  14. The organiser reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required under the photo submission page. The submission deadline is 31 Jan, 2016, before 11.59pm.
  15.  All submitted images are non-returnable. The file name for each image should be clearly labelled with the participant’s name, and where the image was taken.
  16. Each image submitted must be the original and unpublished work of the participant who must also be its copyright owner.
  17. The participant shall retain copyright to the image entered for the competition.
  18.  By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having accepted and agreed to be bound by the rules and regulations of the competition.
