The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Holy Mary Institute of Technology & Science was established in the year 2001. B. Tech. (ECE) Program was duly approved by the AICTE and Government of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad till date. The Department is offering M. Tech programme with two specializations i.e. EMBEDDED SYSTEMS from 2007 and VLSI Design since 2012 respectively.

To create employable and entrepreneurial engineers with academic excellence, positive attitude, communication & interpersonal skills, good character, self confidence and leadership qualities and who are useful to the Family, Society and Nation. Also it is aimed for continuous development of faculty personality.
